This Privacy Policy governs all usage of the Android application WeepDisk. WeepDisk is a local storage analyzer and file cleaning utility designed to identify junk cache files, redundant documents, duplicate media and oversized files to free up storage space on your mobile device.

All file scanning, analysis and cleanup operations run locally on your device hardware. No raw file content is transmitted to any remote servers. By installing and launching WeepDisk, you acknowledge and accept all terms laid out within this document. If you disagree with any clauses, please uninstall the application and stop using it immediately.

2. Required System Permissions

MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access Permission)

WeepDisk requests All Files Access permission to traverse all shared storage directories, detect junk data and execute storage cleanup workflows. This permission is essential to enable all core functions of the application.

Critical Declaration: WeepDisk never uploads, forwards, or stores your local photos, documents, videos or any private user files on external servers. Every file read and analysis process remains isolated locally on your own device only.

3. Information Processing

3.1 Locally Stored Application Data

  • User preferences, custom scan filters and application configurations saved inside the App’s private storage folder.
  • Temporary scan results stored in runtime memory. All temporary data will be fully cleared after you close WeepDisk.

3.2 Data We Do NOT Collect

  • No personally identifiable information including names, email addresses, phone numbers or physical addresses.
  • We never extract, upload or distribute your private media and personal documents.
  • No precise geolocation information is collected at any time.
  • We do not monitor your activity across other applications or websites.

3.3 Optional Anonymous Diagnostic Data

The App may offer you the option to submit anonymized crash logs, device model and operating system version data. This information is used solely for bug fixes and performance optimization. Diagnostic records cannot be linked back to individual users and contain no private user files.

  • Carry out storage scanning, cache detection and file cleanup features;
  • Preserve your personalized application configurations locally;

All personal files remain stored locally on your device. WeepDisk does not transmit private file content over public networks.
